HENRICO COUNTY, Va. β Crime Insider sources tell Jon Burkett that a Little Caesar employee was killed when two tractor trailers crashed on Laburnum Avenue, near the intersection of Williamsburg Road, around 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
Henrico police have not yet confirmed the identity of deceased, but did say one man was killed and at least one tractor trailer driver suffered life-threatening injuries.
The roadway is back open as of 7:15 p.m. after it was closed for cleanup and investigation.
"I was on my way to Kroger, and the street is blocked down there, so I got out and parked to explore," Charles Stalling, who lives in the area and drove up on the aftermath of the crash, said. "They're saying that it's a guy that works for Little Caesars. Everybody who's in this area knows that he works for Little Caesar."
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
