SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. -- A child reported a masked man grabbed her and attempted to pull her into his car Friday afternoon at the Timbers Subdivision, the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office reported.
“A child reported that an older model two-door sedan, black or dark in color with scratches stopped near her. A male in his 30’s with short brown hair, light skin, and approximately 6 feet tall, grabbed her and attempted to pull her into the vehicle,” the sheriff’s office posted on social media. “The witness stated that the male had on dark gloves and a full mask, only revealing his brown eyes. The child was able to pull away and the vehicle fled the area.”
The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
