RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond’s annual outdoor sports and music festival will return to Brown’s Island and Historic Tredegar this spring.
Dominion Energy Riverrock 2020 will be held from Friday, May 15 through Sunday, May 17.
The free festival, organized by Sports Backers and Venture Richmond Events LLC, brings athletes, spectators, musicians, and even dogs to Richmond.
The event features a variety of outdoor sports including trail running, kayaking, biking, bouldering, slacklining, stand up paddleboarding, and dog jumping.
Dominion Energy Riverrock has announced their full music lineup for the 2020 festival, headlined by The Motet and Dr. Dog.
“We are very excited to announce Dr. Dog and The Motet as headliners for a great weekend of diverse offerings and performances during Dominion Energy Riverrock,” said Stephen Lecky, Director of Events for Venture Richmond. “Every performer in this year’s lineup will bring energy for fans and spectators as we highlight downtown Richmond’s vibrant riverfront and outdoor adventure opportunities.”
The Motet will take the stage at 8 p.m. on opening night. On Saturday, May 16th, Dr. Dog will headline, also taking the stage at 8 p.m.
