Our next storm will move in late Tuesday night and Wednesday.

This may start as snow or a mix across the metro before it changes to rain. The mix will linger much longer in areas well north and west of Richmond, with some significant icing possible, particularly across western and northern Virginia.

Temperatures will be in the mid 30s to low 40s Wednesday afternoon.

The unsettled weather pattern will continue through the end of the week into next weekend, with showers possible each day. Temperatures will vary a bit, ranging from the 50s Thursday, cooling to the upper 40s and low 50s Friday and Saturday, then warming back to near 60° next Sunday.
