Arrests made after fight erupts at Siegel Center following Tucker graduation

RICHMOND, Va. – Five individuals were detained following a fight after a graduation ceremony at the Siegel Center.

VCU Police officers responded to a courtyard at the Sigel Center, near the intersection of West Broad St. and North Harrison St., for a fight in progress at 12:35 p.m. on June 10.

The altercation occurred after the scheduled J.R. Tucker graduation ceremony.

Five individuals were detained. Two people were later charged, an adult and a juvenile, according to VCU Police.

Darius Wilks, 18, of Henrico and a juvenile male were both charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.

Individuals involved in the altercation were examined and treated by EMS staff for minor injuries . Wilks was released on a summons.
