GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. — Police identified the Goochland man killed in a Sunday night motorcycle accident as Sean O’Neal Harris, 25, of Gum Spring, Virginia. Harris, who was wearing his helmet, was the only person involved in the crash on Route 637 (Hawk Town Road), near Route 635 (Camelback Road), according to police.

“A 2012 Kawasaki ZX-1000 motorcycle was traveling north on Route 637, when it ran off the road to the right and struck several trees,” Virginia State Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Vick said. “Speed is being considered a factor in the crash.”

Harris was the father of a one-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy.

“We had plans for our future, we made promises to each other just yesterday, and we set goals for ourselves,” Carey McKinney, the daughter’s mother, said. “Sean has been my rock and I just wish I could’ve received the usual ‘good morning beautiful’ text from him today.”

Anyone who would like to share their thoughts or remembrances of Sean Harris, can so so here.
