CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Police released several photos of a man and woman wanted for credit card fraud.
The pair used an 89-year-old woman’s credit cards to go on a shopping spree at Best Buy on Koger Center Boulevard, Chesterfield Police said. The cards were in a purse that was stolen from a shopping cart at T.J. Maxx on Commonwealth Center Parkway.
“While shopping, the [woman] left her cart for a moment to look at something. Her purse was left in the cart, and when she returned to collect the cart, both the cart and the purse were gone,” Chesterfield County Crime Solvers wrote in an email. “Less than an hour later, two of her stolen credit cards were used at the Best Buy.”
The crime happened on Thursday, June 19, police said.
