More heat and humidity, as well as isolated storms

A lingering storm or two is possible well west of Richmond overinght, otherwise skies will be variably cloudy. It will be warm and humid, with areas of fog and lows ranging from the mid 60s to the low 70s.

Sunday will be partly sunny, very warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s to around 90. A few isolated storms will again be possible during the afternoon and early evening.

It will be hot and humid Monday and Tuesday with highs in the low 90s. While much of the time it will be dry, a few storms may pop up, especially on Tuesday.

Rain chances will increase region-wide through the week. Numerous showers and storms are likely Thursday through Saturday. Highs will be in the upper 80 to near 90, with overnight lows in the upper 60s and low 70s.
