RICHMOND, Va. -- High pressure has settled into the region this morning bringing us seasonally cold conditions . We’ll have some high cloud cover today, but it will be a dry and chilly day, with highs only reaching the low 50s. Expect increasing clouds tomorrow and milder weather, with a slim chance for light rain before sunset. Chances for rain during the day will be higher across western Virginia.

All areas will receive rain overnight Wednesday into Thanksgiving morning, with the rain exiting Virginia by Noon Thanksgiving Day. Highs will reach the mid to upper 60s. Black Friday will be partly cloudy and mild, with highs in the low to mid 60s.

A weak cold front will bring a slight chance for light rain to the area on Saturday. Sunday will be cooler with mostly cloudy skies. Another storm system will bring us a good chance of rain next Monday, with temperatures potentially staying in the 40s all day.
