Drier air moves in today, river flooding continues

RICHMOND, Va. -- This morning will be mostly cloudy with areas of fog and drizzle. Clouds will decrease from west to east during the day. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s.

The weekend will be mainly dry. Some showers are possible Sunday with a quick moving system. Highs will be in the upper 50s/lower 60s Saturday, and near 70 on Sunday.

Highs Monday will be in upper 50s to mid 60s, but it will turn much cooler for Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s. Lows will be in the low to mid 30s, with some 20s north and west of Richmond.

Tropics -- Tropical Storm Eta will track from Florida out into the Atlantic, staying just south of the Outer Banks. Tropical Storm Theta is located near the Azores, and will stay in the far eastern Atlantic. A new system is being monitored in the central Caribbean. It is tracking westward and is likely to become Tropical Storm Iota. It is expected to move into Central America. More info is available in the CBS 6 Interactive Tropical Tracker.
