CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – A driver injured in a December two-vehicle crash on Jefferson Davis in Chesterfield County has died.
The crash occurred in the 16200 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at about 3:38 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, 2019.
“A 2000 Ford Econoline E250 van was traveling north on Jefferson Davis Highway when its driver lost control, crossed into the southbound lanes and struck a 2013 Jeep Compass driven by Gail A. Honts, 57. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to area hospitals,” said a Chesterfield Police spokesperson.
Honts, of Hopewell, died from her injuries on Feb. 3, 2020.
Chesterfield Police continue their investigation into the crash.
