RICHMOND, Va. -- Groups gathered in Ginter Park on Tuesday evening to remember the man shot and killed in a 7-Eleven parking lot last Thursday.
52-year-old Vanterry Fields was killed in the parking lot of 7-Eleven at Azalea and Chamberlayne Avenue.
Police say that the shooting happened after a fight between Fields and the suspect.
Police have arrested 49-year-old Craig Maryland and charged him with second-degree murder for the killing.
