CHESTERFIELD, Va. -- Twelve people are without a home after an apartment building caught fire early Wednesday morning on Bannockbarn Drive.
Firefighters arrived to the scene just before 5 a.m., noting flames showing from the roof when they arrived.
The fire was under control within an hour, and no injuries were reported.
The residents displaced are being assisted by the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
