HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Police identified the Henrico man killed walking along Nine Mile Road as 43-year-old Robert Sean Clack, of Colwyck Drive.
Clack was struck by a car Tuesday night while he walked along Nine Mile and Eastgate Boulevard, near Fairfield Middle School, in Henrico.
Clack was killed less than a mile from his home.
He was wearing all black when he was struck, police said.
“Members of the Henrico Police Crash Team continue to investigate this accident,” a Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley said. “Neither speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in this crash.”
The driver of the car that hit Clack stopped after the collision and spoke with police.
The incident happened at about 10:20 p.m.
