Gunmen take Richmond woman’s cell phone, cigarettes and shoot her in leg

RICHMOND, Va. -- A woman suffered non-life threatening injuries when she was shot during an overnight robbery in Richmond. Two men robbed the woman around midnight near the intersection of Crutchfield Street and Westover Hills Boulevard in South Richmond. The men took her cigarettes and cell phone, Richmond Police Capt. Chris Gleason said.

The woman told police the men shot her in the leg after taking her belongings.

Police have not yet released information about the robbers. This is a developing story.
