Clue about man’s voice could crack Chesterfield robbery case

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Police are looking for a “deep voiced” robber who hit the Circle K at 2117 Willis Road Saturday at about 3:30 a.m.

“The suspect entered the business, approached the clerk and demanded cash. After receiving cash, the suspect fled on foot. No weapon was displayed during the incident,” a Chesterfield Police spokeswoman wrote in an email.

Police described the robber as a 5 feet 7 inch tall black man with a dark complexion.

“He was wearing jeans, a black sweatshirt, a black skull cap and a light blue cloth covering his face,” police said. “He had a deep voice.”
