Richmond Realtor accused of theft could get Realtor’s license back

Posted

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- A Realtor accused of stealing liquid pain medicine from a Henrico home she was showing could apply to get her Realtor's license back after the prosecutor nolle prossed, or set aside, the felony drug possession charge against her. The Commonwealth cited a lack of evidence in the case.

Sarah West Reeves was charged after a family's security camera system captured her opening the kitchen pantry and removing a bottle, police said. The homeowner said the bottle contained liquid hydrocodone.

The judge in Reeves' case ruled over the next 90 days, Reeves must perform 24 hours of community service and undergo court-ordered drug and alcohol testing.  If she complied with the court's conditions, she could have a chance to get her Realtor’s license back. Reeves is due back in court August 7.
