RICHMOND, Va. — Police found a man shot on a sidewalk Wednesday morning in Richmond. Neighbors near the 2300 block of Ambrose Street reported hearing multiple gunshots at about 6:40 a.m. When police responded, officers found the shooting victim on the sidewalk. The shooting victim, a man, was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
An area of Ambrose and Whitcomb Streets are blocked off as police investigate the shooting. Police have not yet released information about a shooting suspect nor motive. This is a developing story.
