UVA’s Justin Anderson to miss 4-6 weeks

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Virginia head coach Tony Bennett announced late Saturday that junior guard Justin Anderson has a fractured finger on his left hand and will undergo surgery on Sunday (Feb. 8). Anderson is expected to miss four to six weeks with the injury. Anderson suffered the injury in the first half of No. 3 Virginia’s 52-47 win over No. 9 Louisville. He ranks second on the team in scoring at 13.4 points per game. Virginia (21-1, 9-1 ACC) returns to action at NC State on Wednesday, Feb. 11.

Anderson scored 2 points in Saturday night’s win over Louisville before leaving the game.
