WARREN, New Jersey — A New Kent County father was killed and his three children hurt in a crash Monday night on Interstate 78 in New Jersey, according to a report on MyCentralJersey.com.
Kevin Hutchins, 54, died at the scene of the crash, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn told the newspaper. Hutchins’ children, who range in age from 11 to 14, were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said Hutchins’ 2007 Honda Odyssey hit two cars on the highway before driving off the road and hitting a tree.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
