Police seek this woman, issue alert after violent incident inside VCU Parking Deck

RICHMOND, Va. — Police are looking for a woman involved in a violent incident inside the Main Street Parking Deck on VCU’s Monroe Park campus.

“The victim and the suspect got into a verbal dispute at the pedestrian entrance to the parking deck,” VCU Police wrote in a campus alert. “The suspect followed the victim to the victim’s vehicle. At that time, the suspect struck the victim with a closed fist and pushed the victim into the victim’s car door causing a laceration above the victim’s right eye. The suspect was last seen walking away from the scene.”

The incident happened at about 4:55 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10.

Police described the suspect as a 5′ to 5’2″ black female who weighed approximately 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, jeans, glasses, with her hair in a ponytail.

“It can be assumed that conditions continue to exist that may pose a threat to members and guests of the community,” police said. “Police have increased patrols in this area.”
