CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — A Chesterfield teenager listed on the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children website returned home Monday morning, her step father confirmed. Destinee Armbruster, 14, was reported missing Friday, November 6.
When asked about the case, police said investigators believed the teenager ran away from home and was not in any danger. Her parents, however, were concerned about her safety and spread the word about her disappearance on social media.
News of the teenager’s disappearance was shared thousands of times over the weekend.
