HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – A broken water main valve has created traffic and water issues in Henrico’s West End. Pemberton Road south near Mayland Drive is closed so crews can fix the valve.

“Workers are directing southbound and northbound traffic in alternating fashion in the northbound lane of Pemberton,” Henrico County Department of Public Utilities spokesman Melvin Slough said.

Water service to nearly 50 homes was impacted by the break. The county expected the situation to be fixed by 3 p.m.
