CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Two business owners were robbed after closing their Chesterfield store for the night Tuesday, according to Chesterfield Police. No one was hurt in the robbery.
The crime happened about 10:13 p.m. outside the Marketplace at 16025 Harrowgate Road.
“As the second victim was about to enter his vehicle, he was approached by two suspects who demanded money,” Chesterfield Police advised in an email. “One of the suspects was armed with what appeared to be a shotgun. The suspects took cash from the victim and cash belonging to the business before fleeing on foot.”
Police provided the following descriptions of the suspects:
Suspect #1:
- Male
- 20-25 years old
- 5 feet 11 inches tall
- Thin build
- Wearing black hooded sweatshirt, ski mask, dark pants and white tennis shoes.
Suspect #2:
- Male,
- 5 feet 10 inches tall
- Thin build
- Wearing black clothing and a ski mask.
