RICHMOND, Va. -- Rain will gradually wind down after midnight with temperatures slowly rising.
Any lingering showers will exit the coast very early Saturday morning, with clouds decreasing during the day. It will be warmer with highs in the low/mid 60s, but southeastern VA will hit the upper 60s.
Another wave of rain will move in Saturday night into the first half of Sunday. It will be a colder day with highs 45-50.
A few disturbances will move through the area Monday and Tuesday, and an isolated shower or sprinkle cannot be ruled out, but most areas will be dry. Highs will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the lower 50s.
Clouds will increase on Thursday with highs around 50.
Our next system will bring the chance of showers on Friday. Some snowflakes will be possible across far northwestern VA. Highs will be in the 40s Friday into next weekend.
