RICHMOND, Va. -- A cold front moving through the area tonight will bring clouds and possibly an isolated shower overnight. Lows will be in the upper 40s and low 50s. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect until 3AM.

Monday will have more clouds around, along with the threat for a few spotty showers. The highest shower chances will be across southern Virginia. Highs will range from the mid 60s to low 70s.

It will be warmer on Tuesday, with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 70s. We’ll have variable cloudiness with the threat for a few scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms as the front moves back north as a warm front.

Wednesday will likely be the warmest day of the week, with highs in the low 80s. There may be an isolated afternoon thunderstorm, but most locations will be dry. It will stay warm Thursday, with a few showers and thunderstorms along a strong cold front moving through.

That front will usher in much cooler weather at the end of the week. Highs will be in the upper 50s to low 60s Friday and Saturday, with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s. Temperatures will rebound a bit by next Sunday afternoon.
