RICHMOND, Va. -- A lingering shower is possible well southwest of Richmond, otherwise the clouds will be scattered overnight. Somewhat cooler and less humid air will move in before daybreak. Lows will range from the mid 50s to low 60s.
Sunday will be cooler and a lot less humid. Highs will be in the mid 70s, with mostly sunny skies. Lows Sunday night will drop into the upper 40s/low 50s across the metro. Some of the coldest outlying areas could be in the mid 40s.
Monday will be partly to mostly sunny with highs in the low and mid 70s.
There will be a big warm-up for the second half of the week. Highs will be in the low 80s on Tuesday, and in the upper 80s and low 90s Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will be in the 85-90 range Friday through next weekend. It will start turning more humid midweek.
An isolated storm is possible on Tuesday north of Richmond, and a storm or two is possible Wednesday across the entire area. Storm chances will increase for Thursday and Friday.
