RICHMOND, Va. --- A weak cold front will move through the area this evening, bringing the central Piedmont and Tidewater a slight chance for showers between 7 PM and Midnight. Wednesday will be a slightly cooler day, with morning sun and increasing clouds in the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will be likely late Wednesday night into Thursday as a warm front moves through the area. Highs on Thursday will reach the upper 70s, with mid 80s on Friday. Spring will officially begin at 11:50 PM EDT Thursday. Another cold front will move through the area Friday night bringing cooler weather into the region for the weekend. Temperatures will gradually return to the 60s by Tuesday of next week.
