RICHMOND, Va. -- Low pressure in the upper-levels of the atmosphere will remain in place tonight through Saturday, gradually moving off shore during the day Sunday.
This low will bring scattered showers and storms to the area Saturday afternoon and evening, with a few additional showers and storms on Father's Day.
Highs will reach the low to mid 80s over the weekend, but will jump into the low 90s during the first half of next week.
We'll continue to have a chance for showers and storms each day as another upper-level trough brings ripples of energy through the region.
There are currently no significant tropical disturbances in the Atlantic Basin. Stay with CBS 6, The Weather Authority.
