RICHMOND, Va. -- Clouds will increase this morning, and rain will move in from the west Friday afternoon into Friday evening. It will be breezy with highs 65-70. Rain will turn a bit steadier during the evening, then exit Friday night.
Saturday will be partly cloudy, breezy and quite cool. Morning lows will be in the 30s, and afternoon highs will be in the 50s.
It will be even colder Saturday night into Sunday morning, with many areas away from the coast having the potential for frost/freeze conditions. Lows will dip into the upper 20s to around 30 in our coldest outlying areas, we will be in the low to mid 30s in the metro, and upper 30s/lower 40s in southeastern VA and along the coast.
Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid 60s.
A cold front may cause a shower on Monday with highs in the mid 60s. Temperatures will stay below normal through mid-week, but some 80-degree weather is expected later next week.
