RICHMOND, Va. -- It will stay muggy this evening with scattered showers/storms and localized heavy rainfall. Rain chances will turn lower overnight. Areas of fog will be possible with lows in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

The weekend will be muggy with occasional showers and storms. Rain chances will be highest late in the day on Saturday. Isolated strong storms are possible, and additional heavy rainfall may create more flooding. Highs will range from the mid 70s to the lower 80s.

Rain chances will drop quite a bit for Monday and Tuesday. Widely scattered storms will be around for mid and late week. Highs will be mainly in the low to mid 80s much of the week.

Tropical Storm Kyle has formed about 200 miles east of our area. It will continue moving away from the coast and into the Atlantic.

Tropical Storm Josephine is located just east of the Leeward Islands and will track to the northwest. The storm is expected to go north of the Leeward Islands and Puerto Rico, and then curve to the northeast towards Bermuda as it weakens to a tropical depression or remnant low.
