RICHMOND, Va. -- Expect increasing clouds during the day today, with highs reaching the upper 50s and low 60s. A few light showers will be possible late in the day, especially across far western Virginia. Rain will develop late Wednesday night through early Thanksgiving Day, with the rain ending from west to east during the morning. Skies will partially clear in the afternoon, and highs will reach the mid to upper 60s.

Black Friday will be variably cloudy and seasonal, with a few showers possible on Saturday. Sunday will be dry and cool.

A powerful storm system will bring a good chance of rain to the area on Monday, followed by much colder air on Tuesday.
