RICHMOND, Va. -- Snow will end from west to east this evening into tonight, followed by clearing skies.
Lows by daybreak will drop into the low and mid 20s. Any moisture on roadways -- whether it's dampness, a dusting of snow, or snow accumulation -- will turn icy.

Temperatures will rise above freezing by late morning.
Friday will be sunny with highs around 40. Lows Friday night will be in the teens and 20s.
Temperatures will moderate this weekend, with sunshine and highs returning to the 50s.
Another trough of low pressure will bring rain to the area next Monday and Tuesday, with another system bringing rain and snow to Virginia on Wednesday.
Windy and colder weather is expected next Thursday, followed by cool and dry weather through the weekend.
