RICHMOND, Va. -- A strong upper-level storm system will bring rain to the area this afternoon through early Wednesday, with most areas receiving between a quarter and a half an inch of rain. Skies will slowly clear on Wednesday, with temperatures remaining in the 50s. Expect plenty of sunshine Thursday through Saturday, with chilly nights and warm afternoons. A low chance of rain remains in the forecast for Sunday, but any amounts will be very light. Highs will return to the mid 70s early next week, with another chance for rain on Tuesday.
