RICHMOND, Va. -- Rain will be exiting the entire area overnight, with the breeze picking up and cooler air moving in.

The upper-level low pressure center associated with this storm system will cross the region Saturday, bringing additional scattered showers mixed with wet snow at times. Some light accumulations on grassy surfaces could occur across the western Piedmont close to the Blue Ridge.

Sunday and Monday will feature a mix of clouds and sunshine with seasonally cool conditions.

The next storm system for our area is still on track for next Thursday, with a cold rain for most areas.
