RICHMOND, Va. -- For the latest advisory on Delta, check out our CBS 6 Interactive Tropical Tracker. The remnants of Delta will track into the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys this weekend.
Periods of rain will continue overnight, along with some areas of fog. Lows will be in the low to mid 60s.
Sunday will be a humid day, with more periods of rain. Temperatures won't move much, with highs in the upper 60s. More showers are likely Sunday night into Monday.
There will be rain around early Monday morning, then just a few scattered showers will linger during the afternoon. It will be warm and muggy with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
Final rain totals from the weekend through Monday could exceed an inch across the metro. Rain amounts above an inch will be more common west of I-95, and totals of 2-3"+ are possible closer to I-81.
A cold front will move through on Tuesday with just some clouds. Highs will be in the mid and upper 70s.
Dry weather will return Wednesday and Thursday, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s.
A stronger cold front will bring the threat of showers on Friday, followed by much cooler air next weekend. Highs will be in the 60s. Lows will range from the mid 30s to low 40s.
