RICHMOND, Va. -- It will be warm and muggy overnight with lows in the upper 60s and low 70s. More areas of fog are possible towards daybreak.
Monday will be a little hotter with highs in the low 90s. The heat index will be in the upper 90s to near 100°. We'll see a blend of sun and clouds, along with the threat for a few isolated storms in the afternoon and early evening.
Rain chances will increase Tuesday through Thursday, and stay on the higher side at the end of the week. While storms will still be scattered, more clusters of occasional storms will be likely. Due to the muggy air sticking around, storms will produce heavy rainfall. Highs will be in the upper 80s and low 90s most of the week.
