RICHMOND, Va. -- It will be warm and humid overnight, with variably cloudy skies and some areas of fog. Lows will be in the mid and upper 60s.

Storm chances will be lower on Sunday, but a few are likely to be around during the afternoon and early evening. Once again, some local downpours are possible. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

It will turn hotter Monday through Wednesday with highs in the low 90s. A few storms are possible Monday and Tuesday afternoons, with higher rain chances on Wednesday due to a “cool” front approaching from the west. That front may not clear the coast on Thursday, so a few isolated storms are possible.

Afternoon temperatures behind the front will average in the mid and upper 80s Thursday and Friday, but the readings of 90° or higher are likely to return next weekend.
