RICHMOND, Va. - Skies will be partly sunny today/mostly cloudy as a cold front moves through the area. Shower chances will be around 30% North of I-64 and a touch higher to the south. The high today will be in the low to mid 80s. Rain chances will be lower during the day Saturday, with many locations staying dry.
A strong cold front will move through the area early next week, bringing several days of pleasant weather to the region, with cool nights and mild afternoons.
Tropical Storms Paulette and Rene remain over the open waters of the central Atlantic over the next few days. A strong disturbance emerging from the west coast of Africa has a very high chance of becoming a tropical depression or a tropical storm by this weekend. Another disturbance northeast of the Bahamas has a medium chance of becoming a depression or storm over the next 5 days as it drifts westward into the Gulf of Mexico.
