Skies becoming partly sunny & breezy

RICHMOND, Va. -- Rain has moved out, skies will become partly sunny and breezy, with a few afternoon showers and high temps in the mid and upper 50s.

Saturday will be partly sunny with highs in the lower 50s.

An area of low pressure will pass to our southeast on Sunday, but it will be close enough to bring the chance of some rain and snow. It's looking like a few inches of wet snow will be possible before daybreak Sunday, then sleet and rain after daybreak. Any accumulation will slowly melt during the day Sunday.

Monday will be mostly sunny with highs in the 40s. A few showers are possible Tuesday.

We are watching another system for later next week, Thursday night into Friday, which will bring another opportunity for rain and snow.
