More sunshine is on the way for Sunday, with afternoon highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Monday will start with sunshine and then the clouds will quickly increase. Some showers are a possibility at night, especially across southern Virginia. Highs will be in the lower 50s. As this system passes to our south, a few showers may linger very early Tuesday morning. The sun will likely return Tuesday afternoon, with highs in the upper 40s.

Afternoon temperatures will be in the lower 50s Wednesday through Friday. A cold front will bring the threat of a passing shower Friday, with cooler air moving in for next weekend.
