RICHMOND, Va. -- Wednesday was the hottest day since October 3. Today will be hot and humid again with highs in the low to mid 90s.
The humidity will make it feel a few degrees hotter. Scattered storms will be possible in the afternoon and evening. Not all areas will see storms, but the storms that develop will have some heavy downpours and the potential for strong gusts.
Friday will be just a few degrees cooler with highs in the upper 80s to around 90. More scattered storms will be possible, especially in the evening.
Saturday will be hot and humid with highs in the lower 90s. A few scattered storms will be possible as a cold front moves through, with the best chance in southeastern VA.
Sunday will be cooler and less humid with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid 80s.
Highs will be back close to 90 on Wednesday, but a cold front will bring some showers and storms late in the day and at night. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s at the end of the week.
