RICHMOND, Va. -- Waves of rain will be with us overnight through Saturday morning.

We’ll see a lull in the rainfall Saturday afternoon through Sunday night, with showers and a few thunderstorms developing along a warm front Sunday morning. The best chance of rain Sunday will be just north of Richmond, but at least a low chance will continue in areas to the south.

It appears as though conditions will vary greatly on Sunday across Virginia, with cooler weather up north, and 70s possible south. A cold front will bring another good chance of rain to the area Sunday night through Monday morning, with cooler air returning to the region.

Tuesday will be dry and seasonal, with more rain still appearing likely on Wednesday.

Dry weather is expected next Thursday into the weekend.
