RICHMOND, Va. -- A system passing to our south will keep clouds around today. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s. Far southeastern Virginia could see a few showers this evening and tonight. Lows will be 35-40.
Rain chances will increase for Friday. There will be some morning showers, with the best chance east of I-95. The day will be variably cloudy with highs in the low to mid 50s. Some scattered showers will be around in the afternoon as a cold front is in the area.
Saturday will start with clouds, and eastern Virginia may see a rain or snow shower. Skies will clear by late morning, leading to a sunny afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
Sunday morning will be clear and chilly with temperatures in the 20s, but highs wil reach the upper 50s and lower 60s under sunny skies.
Highs will be near 70 Monday and Tuesday, and mainly in the 60s for the rest of next week. Some showers will be possible Tuesday, and there is the slight chance of a shower Wednesday. There will be a better chance of showers Thursday and Friday.
