RICHMOND, Va. -- The clouds will thicken up overnight, with some rain arriving by daybreak. Lows will be in the upper 40s and low 50s.

Monday will be rainy at times through the morning and into the afternoon. The heaviest rain will fall across southern VA, with much lower amounts north of Richmond. Highs will range from the mid 50s to the low 60s.

Tuesday will be warmer with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. We’ll see some sunshine, but a passing cold front will trigger a few isolated showers and potentially a thunderstorm during the afternoon.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and cooler. After morning lows in the 30s (and some frost possible), highs will be in the low 60s.

Our next storm will bring another round of rain Thursday into Friday. Highs will be in the upper 60s and low 70s. Unsettled weather looks to continue into next weekend, with the threat for at least a few showers each day.
