RICHMOND, Va. -- Expect mostly sunny skies today, with high clouds arriving late in the day. The high temperature will make it into the lower 50s.
A storm system will bring a round of rain to the area tonight into tomorrow morning. The rain should end in the Richmond area by Noon Friday, but could linger across southeast Virginia well into the afternoon. Rain amounts will be around .25".
Saturday will be partly cloudy and cool, with highs in the low 50s. Model data continues to trend away from snow on Sunday, but sampling several days out is still poor. We'll continue to track the potential, but chances for significant wintry weather appear low.
A storm system will bring a chance of precipitation to the area during the middle of next week.
