and last updated

RICHMOND, Va. -- Expect mostly sunny skies today, with breezy northwest winds and highs in the mid to upper 40s.

Temperatures will rebound some tomorrow and Friday, with highs reaching the low to mid 50s each day. A stronger cold front will arrive Friday night, bringing chilly weather to the region over the weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny, but temps will struggle to get out of the mid 40s.

There is still a lot of uncertainty regarding the pattern affecting the Mid-Atlantic next week, but it still appears as though Monday will be a cold rain, with the potential for wintry weather Tuesday into Wednesday.
