RICHMOND, Va. -- Scattered thunderstorms will continue to develop this afternoon and early evening.
The strongest storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and large hail. Another cluster of storms will be possible early Wednesday morning. Damaging wind gusts and large hail will again be possible.
The rest of Wednesday will be very warm, with highs in the low to mid 80s. A few storms will be possible in the afternoon. A cold front will move through the area midday Thursday with another brief round of showers and storms.
Friday and Saturday will be much cooler, with highs in the low 60s. Some areas will likely experience a frost early Saturday morning.
More rain will be likely late Sunday into Monday.
