RICHMOND, Va. -- Skies will be mainly clear overnight, with lows ranging from the mid 60s to low 70s.

Sunday will be another hot day, with plenty of sunshine. Highs will be in the low and mid 90s. A few scattered storms will develop during the afternoon to the west along the I-81 corridor and a few storms may wander east towards I-95 during the evening. These storms will develop along another approaching front, that will be weakening as it moves into the area on Monday.

With the front in our neighborhood Monday, we’ll see a few more scattered storms pop up. Highs will be in the low 90s.

Highs will stay in the low to mid 90s all week, with the potential for some upper 90s by Thursday. The threat for scattered storms will return Friday and Saturday.
