RICHMOND, Va. -Mostly sunny conditions and persistent westerly wind will help boost temperatures into the 60s today and Wednesday. Winds will be sustained at 15-25 mph today, with gusts over 30 mph at times. Highs Wednesday will reach the mid 60s, with a few locations possibly reaching the 70-degree mark.

A cold front will move through the area Wednesday night, but limited moisture and convergence will likely only yield a few clouds during the frontal passage. Temperatures Thursday behind the front will only reach the mid 50s.

A storm system will bring rain to the area Friday afternoon through midday Saturday. Another wave of rainfall is likely Sunday afternoon and evening. The chance for rain will likely linger into Monday.
